Introduction to Bethard
Bethard are a relatively new online bookmaker who offer a range of betting options including a Casino, Sportsbook and Virtual Sports sites.
Bethard is one of the fastest growing sports betting operators in Europe and are represented worldwide by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
They are looking to make headway into the UK market, so I thought I’d take a look at what they were offering. This review will look specifically at their Sports Betting site.
This review of Bethard will cover:
Selection of Games – Bethard
Bethard offer a great selection of Sports betting markets.
English Premier League and other European Football League bets are all there.
Also highlighted are Tennis, Boxing, Motor Sports and some more exotic games like Gaelic Football and Aussie Rules Football.
The Football betting has all the options you would expect with over 80 types of bet available on games.
Like a lot of Worldwide betting sites, for some reason, they don’t cover Horse Racing or Greyhounds in the UK. Must be too local a market for them to cover.
But for every other sport you can think of, Bethard have got you more than covered.
If you like European football or other sports that may not be as easy to get betting options on in UK bookmakers, then Bethard could be the site for you.
Payment Methods – Bethard
Bethard take all major payment methods, as you would imagine for a big site.
All major Debit cards, Netteller, Skrill and PaySafe cards are all accepted by them.
Like all the sites we review or recommend, Bethard are licensed and regulated by the Gambling Commission in the UK, so you know they use secure banking methods and can be trusted.
Welcome Bonus – Bethard
Bethard’s bonus for new customers is a 5% bonus for every wager in the first 7 days after you join.
You can claim up to ten times in this period with a minimum of £20 wagered and a maximum of £100 wagered, meaning you can get £50 maximum bonus.
This bonus is in cash and has no wagering requirement attached to it. Which is pretty good compared to most other Sportsbooks or Casinos.
As far as Welcome bonuses go, I think this is quite a good one. Not overly generous but the fact that it is cash that you can withdraw if you want makes it at least a simple option – with no ties.
Please note that their Casino site’s bonus does have more complicated terms and conditions. If you need help navigating welcome bonus terms then read our article.
Ongoing Promotions – Bethard
Sportsbooks tend to offer specific bonuses for specific events. Bethard are no different with offers on at the tiem of writing this article, for Tennis in particular.
They also offer the more common offers such as odds boosts and Cash Out options.
One thing they offer that stood out to me was a feature called Pulse Betting. This is a live betting option where you can bet “in-game” on a football match for a goal to be scored in the next 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 minutes. So if you are watching and can feel a goal is coming you can stick on a Pulse Bet with them.
So some good offers and some standard ones available at Bethard.
Customer Service Options – Bethard
Bethard have two ways of contacting their customer support team . Email or Live Chat.
Disapppinting that the have no phone number but their support is available 24 hours a day which is pretty good.
They have an FAQ section but it is not very comprehensive.
Summary & Rating – Bethard
Bethard are a slick, looking and professional operation. They have a good selection of sports covered and plenty of betting options for those of us who like a more complex wager.
Their Welcome Bonus is pretty good and it is in cash with no ties, which is refreshingly simple.
Bethard’s ongoing promotions give you something to increase your enjoyment.
I think their Customer Service Options could be improved – at least beef up the FAQ section if nothing else.
I’ve no problem recommending giving Bethard a try, especially if you aren’t a fan of Horse Racing or the Greyhounds.
