Introduction to PlayOJO
PlayOJO are part of the eGaming Online (EGO) brand of online Casinos.
They marketed themselves in their 2017 launch campaign as a different type of Casino. Their advertising campaign was based around the fact that they didn’t have “wagering Requirements” or any other small-print that restricted their bonuses.
This makes things much simpler for players. If you haven’t had a Casino bonus before then we have an article that explains how their Welcome bonuses work.
Although, PlayOJO weren’t the first ever Casino to offer bonuses in cash, they certainly gained a lot of press and it is fair to say that a lot of other Casinos have followed their lead.
So how do PlayOJO stack up against other Casinos?
The areas we will look at in our PlayOJO review, are:
Selection of Games – PlayOJO
PlayOJO are mainly focused on Slots games and they have a great selection of all the best and most popular slots games available.
Unlike some other Casinos, they are not tied down to one or two games providers and this means that if you already have a favourite Slot then they almost certainly will have it.
A simple search function lets you find the slots you know already. Or you can easily browse the latest arrivals to find a new game to play.
They also have a good selection of the usual Casino games, including Poker, Blackjack and Roulette. For fans of Live Dealer tables, they have plenty of them to choose from too.
The also have a good selection of Video Poker games. They only have a few versions, but these do include the most popular versions – Joker Poker, Deuces Wild and Aces & Faces.
Payment Methods – PlayOJO
PlayOJO have all the main payment options you would expect. From the usual Debit card option to PayPal, Netteller, Skrill and PaySafe.
They offer their services across multiple territories, so some options are different depending on the Country you are based in.
Withdrawal times for normal bank accounts take 2-3 days as is usual. eWallets, as usual are quicker.
The minimum withdrawal amount is £20 which is higher than some of the more established Casinos, where £10 minimum is more common.
But most players probably wouldn’t withdraw £10 anyway, I suppose.
Welcome Bonus – PlayOJO
As we mentioned in our introduction, PlayOJO made a name for themselves with their “no wagering requirement” policy for bonuses.
Because of this, their bonuses tend to be in Spin rather than cash. But any cash you win with the Spins are in cash. This is unusually good for a Casino.
There is also no limit on the amount you can win with your Free Spins which I have seen with some Casinos. So again, everything is straightforward.
Their Welcome Bonus is 50 Free Spins.
This may not seem as attractive as getting a £200 match bonus but actually, being able to keep any cash you win on 50 Spins is probably going to be more profitable than getting £200 with a 30x wagering requirement.
Of course, you could stay and spend your winnings. But the choice is yours and at least with PlayOJO you have one.
Ongoing Promotions – PlayOJO
PlayOJO have a wide selection of ongoing promotions for existing customers too.
They give money back on every wager as part of their OJO Plus incentive. Win or lose you get a percentage back. And as with all their bonuses there is no catch. The incentive pays out in cash.
They also have the PlayOJO Wheel, where you are guaranteed a prize when you use free spins on it that you accumulate as “rewards”.
They have their own loyalty programme called “Club OJO” where you can move up levels depending on your spend up to the VIP level.
Each level has its own enhanced reward system.
Customer Service Options – PlayOJO
With all the Terms and conditions being so clear, you may never need to contact them. But if you do there are email and live chat options to do so.
They also have a good FAQ section covering all the main topics and a Blog section with some interesting articles.
Summary & Rating – PlayOJO
They may be relatively new to the market, but PlayOJO have already won the EGR Rising Star Award as well as a Casino Meister award for best new Casino at the end of 2017.
No doubt they will be up for a few awards this year too.
The PlayOJO ads got my attention last year. With my own bad experiences of Welcome bonuses with complex Terms and Conditions, I was happy to hear what they were doing.
And I must say it makes things much easier to just have bonus winnings and know that the money is all yours.
As I mentioned there primary offering is Slots, which is one of my favourite pastimes. And they certainly have a great selection here.
So, I have no problem giving PlayOJO a five-star review.
They are certainly worth trying out.
